PHOENIX — How do you like your chicken wings?
Traditional or boneless? Mild, medium, hot, or extra extra extra extra hot? Ghost? Honey BBQ?
No matter your favorite flavor, today (Monday, July 29) is the day to celebrate because it is “National Chicken Wing Day.” And with all of these foodie-friendly national holidays out there, of course a few businesses around town are offering special freebies, deals, and promotions.
Here is what we have gathered, so far.
Half Moon Sports Grill: Diners can get all-you-can-eat wings for $15. Details.
Native Grill & Wings: 40-cent wings all day at selection locations. Details.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Diners can get a free order of “snack”-sized wings with any purchase of a small, medium, or large order of boneless or traditional wings. Details.
Hooters: The restaurant chain is offering all-you-can-eat wings for $15.99 per person from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Details.
Wingstop: Get five free wings with any wings purchase. Use code “5FREEWINGS” at checkout. Available for ordes online or dine-in. Details.
The Buffalo Spot: Diners can get five traditional wings for free from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Long Wong’s: Diners can get $0.69-cent wings all day at its restaurants in Chandler, Phoenix (27th Avenue) and Scottsdale, according to a Facebook post. Each location sets its own pricing. While there are savings with this deal, our Smart Shopper learned that diners can get 50-cent wings on Tuesdays at the Chandler location, which is cheaper than their “wing day” promotion. Details.

Famous Dave’s BBQ has canceled its promotion at its Phoenix restaurants. At the time, they were owned by a franchisee, but have since been sold back to Famous Dave’s corporate.
